"Everything was really great with our first Breather experience, from start to finish. Dan showed us around a couple of spaces to help us find the perfect spot for our meeting. The space we chose worked very well. Super clean, bright, spacious, well equipped and organized. No hitches for entry, set up or leaving. Loved that we were able to extend our stay with the tap of a button. The Breather team arrived on time to clean up and even happily helped us carry heavy stuff out to our Uber. The whole thing was very professional and polished, and left a positive impression on our team and guests. "Whitehall meetings provides professional meeting rooms at great locations. I run a busy law practice specializing in employment law and criminal defence and frequently use the conference room at 8 King Street East for client and staff meetings as well as mediations. The conference room is spacious, private, comfortable and has a very professional look. Whitehall team is professional, friendly and exceptionally helpful and always goes out of its way to ensure that my meetings and mediations go smoothly." (more)

"This venue was perfect for our needs, spacious and modern. We are a small charity with a limited budget, so I appreciated that they don't add any tax and provide a nonprofit discount. It was also great that A/V needs are included, unlike renting at a hotel where they nickel and dime you for everything. I liked that when you rent the auditorium you also get use of the adjacent reception room, which we used to bring in catering for our guests (another bonus, outside catering is allowed). The communication with the staff was excellent and they answered all my questions. There was also a staff member on-hand all evening in case we needed something. They have Wi-Fi, but what I would like to see in the future is to offer a virtual meeting option so that a session can be recorded; we did it ourselves just using YouTube Live but it wasn't very professionally done. Otherwise the place was perfect and I would use it again and recommend it!" (more)

"We hosted a half-day morning event for 30 people at the HHOF, and loved every minute of it! From the first contact to getting things organized to the event itself, the team was super friendly and helpful. They answered all our questions quickly and diligently, and were always finding ways to support us above and beyond what we expected. They had everything we needed, from AV to catering to room setup and everything in between. The HHOF venue itself was incredible and gave a unique and very memorable vibe to our event. We attended one (capacity approx 90 persons) not long ago and the venue was really nice.It's located on a residential street, with Gage Park immediately behind it (at one time the park was part of its yard).Other uses have been election polling, and town hall gatherings to address development proposals." "The OE Banquet Hall has been the venue of many celebrations in my large family, from baby showers, Christmas parties, Baptisms to birthday parties. Whatever the occassion, the hall has been easily transformed to meet our needs with the help of the amazing OE Banquet Hall staff. Most recently, we celebrated our son's first birthday at the OE Banquet Hall. We successfully converted the hall to my son's First Birthday Carnival. The hall was large enough to accommodate our 140+ guests, a large bouncy castle, carnival games, prize tables, a face painting station, a balloon animal station, a large BBQ spread, a caterer station and various dessert and sweet tables. The hall's side door locations also allowed our guests to easily access the ice cream truck that we hired for the occassion. Michele, the Hall manager, was extremely helpful and accommodating during the entire planning process and her prompt responses via email and/or telephone made the whole process a breeze. She also recommended various trusted vendors that we used for the party, which saved me a lot of time on research. Michele was also quick to provide us with whatever we needed during the event, including a ladder, a basket for cards, fridgerator access, food warmer access and advice on how to set up food stations. What we absolutely loved about this hall is the reasonable rental price!! You can't find another beautiful banquet hall like this with such an affordable price!! Also, we appreciated the fact that we could hire our own caterers without having to choose from an approved vendors list. Overall, we have experienced nothing but the BEST customer service from the OE Banquet Hall and we highly recommend them for all of your banquet hall needs!! " (more)

"We had a Holocaust education public program and book launch in January. The Salon was perfect for this - great, flexible spaces for the lecture, book sales, book signing, reception, etc. The rooms were spacious and beautiful and the staff was professional and attentive. Meghan, the AV company, and the venue team were all helpful and professional and we had a smooth and successful program for 400 people. The nonprofit rates were very much appreciated.
