Very exciting, a huge facility, one of a kind in my eyes. We spent hours there and did not even stop to see all the exhibits and spend all the time we should and could have spent either. We have been to a few aquariums from NY, to MA, and Niagara Falls as well... And we loved this one for being unique and fun. Hands on exhibits, a section you can ride the moving floor for, glass floors, full wall sized tanks, and even open tanks you can look into. The gift shop was huge and very good as far as reasonable prices go. We give it a must see rating for sure and make sure you give yourself the appropriate time to get to see it all.

Just a great aquarium with a long tunnel for viewing sharks, giant manta rays, turtles and many other sea creatures. It was pretty crowded in the morning. Its an amazing place for kids with lots of small activities to keep kids engaged. Youll spend about 2 hours in there though depending on how much you like it, you could easily do 4. A pretty good souvenir shop with lots of interesting books for kids.

Ripley's Aquarium of Canada has lots to offer for both adults and kids. Lots to learn and lots to see. The best part is the moving belt where it takes you to see the sharks. That was amazing. This is my second time going there. I will definitely come back again in a couple of years.

We finally decided to visit Ripley's. I admit, I wasn't super excited about going. I was anticipating being lost in a mass of loud, obnoxious people with elbows poking me, without an opportunity to actually observe anything. I was incorrect. The way the facility is built actually provides very good opportunities to see and observe the specimens. Plenty of hands on material to keep kids interested, and an incredible view if the system used to keep everything running at peak conditions. You don't have to take the conveyor through the aquarium, unless you have a stroller. But, many do anyway. The option to walk was far better in my opinion. Some very cool stuff to see here. It took us about 3 1/2 hours to get through. Well worth the cost of admission.

WHAT A DAY!!! Spent 9.5 hrs at the aquarium yesterday with my 3 yr old. Some may think thats crazy. Some may think thats too much for a toddler. It was AWESOME!!! She had the time of her life playing all day with the sharks, the rays and seeing turtles, scuba divers feed the fish and finally passing out on the bench in front of the jellyfish exhibit. After an hour recharge nap, it was off to see all that the underwater world had to offer again, including some more play time at the crab petting area and the indoor park! I followed her all day just enjoying the aquarium from a 3 yr olds eyes and at HER speed. No set itinerary. Just wander the exhibits and read as much as I could about our underwater world. This place is so informative and descriptive. They really did a great job designing the layout. Offering a single pathway through the whole building, gives you the ability to systematically knock everything off the checklist before finally visiting the gift shop to grab a souvenir for the old and you d alike.

We've been one of the preferred caterers at Ripley's Aquarium since it opened it's doors and it's been a fantastic experience working with Andrew and the venue. Our clients are always thrilled for the opportunity to hold an event at such a unique event space. No need for décor as the venue is the attraction! A real gem and a great addition to the wonderful venues Toronto has to offer.
