Archeo is a very nice Italian restaurant located in the distillery district. Food and service was wonderfull. The environment is very cozy. A very good place to chat with your friends or partner while having dinner. I must add that Stuart (Stu C) who served was extra friendly and very professional at his job. I rarely see that kind of a high quality service nowadays. The photo is me and my wife but you can still have an idea how the place looks. Enjoy.
Came for winterlicious with my partner. While the food was good (except the warm chocolate cake, which was frozen and definitely not warm), the service was very weird. Waiters were coming out of the kitchen with food that had no destination, we ended up getting our desserts before the mains and had to send them back to await us until we had our mains, after finally requesting dessert and waiting some time for it we finally got our desserts, only that they were for the table on the other side of the room and the waiter had to take them off our table and take them to the right table at which point we were left waiting again for our dessert which as mentioned came back cold instead of warm. While the restaurant did offer us a drink on the house for the inconveniences considering this was a Monday night and there were 3 wait staff in the not-so-busy restaurant (which we had interactions with all, seemed as we didnt have any dedicated server for our table) this was pretty surprising as many reviews here mention a much better experience. I would like to come back sometime to try it again but Im hesitant only due to the service, the food itself would definitely have me coming back.
I ordered Spaghetti and meatballs but it came with penne instead. Apparently they ran out of spaghetti... on a Saturday in an Italian restaurant? Portion sizes were on the small side. Sauce was good, but meatballs were dry and chewy. My companion's meals were good, average. Our server comped my meal and wine which was a nice sentiment. Antipasti app was pretty small. I wish they would have said so, so that we could have ordered more apps before the meal (3 people shared) . Would have given a better review if they would have managed expectations better. Very nice atmosphere inside.
We recently had our wedding at Archeo in October and it was a fantastic venue! The food, decor, and ambiance were amazing, and the process of planning the wedding with them was very smooth. Based on our extremely positive experience, we would strongly recommend this as a wedding venue in Toronto. We also would like to thank and acknowledge Sandra and Stuart for all their help throughout the whole process and on the day of the event!
Had my wedding here =)Great venue for small weddings! The interior is very rustic with exposed brick walls, reclaimed wooden tables and high ceilings. Food was absolutely delicious! Staff were very polite and accommodating. I've had dinner here many times aside from my wedding and Archeo has never disappointed me!

This is a stunning venue for any reception. We also held the ceremony on their patio and it was beautiful. They were very accommodating and the food was delicious. My clients were thrilled with the service leading up to, and on the day-of. Archeo is a great choice for any event you have in mind!
